Changing the source code...I've been working on replacing BeAIMs self-made translation library with Haikus native LocaleKit for better OS integration. Changing the source code is mostly done, except that switching between languages doesn't work yet. The more time-consuming task is transforming all translations to the new format. I first made a catkeys file that translates to the old placeholder constants and built a little Javascript that replaces them with the proper translations. That's a lot faster than reworking all translations by hand. The strings in the catkeys format aren't even sorted in any reasonable way, so it's a never ending scroll up and down and read twice in the old file.
