Yes but these days I prefer the smaller version called a "bubbler". Made of glass, you put a little water in it, but it's a little bigger than a pipe.

whoa.. bong... in the early 2000s i've bought a bong in amsterdam. it was
a huge one with smokey-white glass and the famous Pitbull logo on it. When
i bring out, everyone knew that the party is starting to get serious. :)

and after years of service it fell and never recovered. rip!

Not sure where the idea of mixing weed and tobacco came from, but I'm not a fan of it. When I asked around about why it's a thing, some said that maybe the impression is that smoking weed is for poor people, or possibly bad people.. so they hide it by pretending to just smoke tobacco? I don't know. I'm cool with smoking tobacco, I just don't like to smoke it with MJ.

ha if you think a bong is crazy you should see dry herb vaporizers. its all i use now, its like a vape but has a chamber you load the bud into and it heats up to around 380 degrees allowing the oils in the bud to vaporize but not combust. one little .2g bowl will last me like damn near a day and its way more potent than a joint or anything that combusts, you can adjust temps like lower than 365 usually is a more body high while higher temps got bigger clouds and greater highs. a 3.5 will last me like a month its crazy! the one i have is a Planet of the Vapes Lobo, my lungs feel so much healthier and its so much less harsher. it also hardly smells compared to lighting up a joint or bong. after you smoke i the bud turns a brown color rom being baked in the chamber lol, crazy thing is you can then take that used bud and because it was decarblized by the heat you can eat it and its like and edible. its insane how long even just a joints worth of bud will last with them. one thing interesting is that there is a very distict delay when you smokee it and when you feel the high, you'll be like this aint doing shit then 8-10 min later your on the moon!

ha ha i really dont mind it either! ive honestly found that the bud of today is so damn potent that i buy the cheapest stuff you can get, here in the PNW you can get $18 ounces all day long that are higher quality than alot of other places for that same price. Every so often ill pick up a real nice 3.5 for like $35 and they're super frosty but dang ill get a pretty good headache and a brainfog for the next day,not worth it to me. I feel like with the cheaper stuff I can smoke then feel completly sober in a hour! no brain fog or anything! phigan, im curious, how long have you been on here? I was on here under the name "Lb" a good while ago im suprised to see your still at it :-)

Daaaang, those are some awesome prices. We're lucky to get decent under 100 ounces ;).. Well, sometimes it's a little less, but nowhere like 20 bux! That's insane cheap and I'd be all over that.

What do you mean by 'on here'? :) I'm typing from my BBS, and I've been on WeedNet for a few years now.

Rad! I've got a Mac SE that I put an 030 accelerator into with System 6 and NCSA Telnet ;).. but I also use a C64 with StrikTerm2014 or CCGMS Future v0.2 sometimes. My BBS does PETSCII on port 2064. Also I sometimes use an Atari 800XL or Atari 130XE with either FlickerTerm80 or Ice-T.

I'm not really sure which one my favorite is.

Thats awesome! id kill to have a SE/30 I always keep an eye out for a nice cheap one I could clean up but they only seem to be going up in price, I bought my Mac Plus from a Goodwill online auction for $100 with the orignal carry bag, keyboard mouse manuals etc.. for what they are going for now that was a pretty good deal.

My SE/30 that I got from somewhere back in 2000 no longer boots, from bad/leaked capacitors. So it's sitting in my buddy's warehouse in California waiting for him to get motivated to recap it for me :). After learning it was no bueno, I found this SE I use now on Craigslist, also for $100 :). No HD or even keyboard, but whatever. At least it worked. And I think it already had 4mb of RAM in it. The SE/30 had 16 ;).

Hi I'm using my Amiga 1200 with a 68030 at 50mhz and 128MB of ram on AmigaOS 3.2.3 and an etherlink 3 PCMCIA ethernet board. I use DCTelnet or NComm terminal for BBSing. To get high on life I use a Storz&Bickel Crafty+ vaporizer since 2021 and never gone back to burning.

Hey just FYI, I now happen to have a handful of compact Macs now that I need to get rid of ;). A few of them don't power on and a few of them do.

Also, by the way, there's a telnet client for System 6 that someone vibe coded with an LLM. They've been doing a bunch of updates to it in the last few days, too. It's called Flynn. The first version of it that I used was 1.6.1 and it was pretty decent. NCSA Telnet would have probably crashed during the amount of time that I used it. It has a lot fewer features, but the 1.6.1 version did a bunch of things better than NCSA did. With this new 1.9.4, there are a bunch of additions and changes, and I already noticed a tiny bug :). Will have to experiment more, but I'm guessing whoever is working on it will end up making it better.

Anyway, I've got a couple Classics, a Classic II, and a few SEs, if you are interested!

That is awesome. Have you noticed much difference in Workbench 3.x vs 2.x? Also, do you have a real time clock in that beast?

The A1200 comes with OS 3.0 from the factory and I have upgraded to 3.1 -> 3.9 -> 3.2 over the years. 3.2 includes a lot of features of 3.9 while being lighter and all of the OS components have had a modern overhaul while remaining true to the classic Amiga experience. Today I couldn't imagine using anything else as the QOL improvements are really a lot and helpfull.

Also, do you have a real time clock in that beast?

Yeah, my Blizzard 1230 mk.IV accelerator has a RTC on board but I also keep the time updated through ntp time servers.
