Hello Marc,
Let's see how this msg arrives.

It arrived perfect. NO problem!!! Apparently the simple change over to Squish format for the NetMail area from the normal .MSG type storage APPEARS TO have solved the problem. Send a message to SEAL Echo here to see if it responds properly - I believe it will. Send the command %HELP.
I still cannot completely comprehend the reason why Squish cannot properly interpret NetMail messages in .MSG format that have the added characters in the @MSGID line... Would that I were a programmer; I'd straighten that crap out "chop-chop." For the present time, it looks like I'll be in the clear.
If this continues to work properly, I'll be happier than a pig in a mud puddle.

I sent a %LINKED request at 12:08PM CST. Nothing back as yet but I think it takes your system a while to process. Let me know if you see the message and if it gets stuck.

Are you sure it wasn't NetMgr that has the issue (and not Squish)?

NetMgr seems to be working just fine with the change-over to a Squish NetMail area. All I needed to do with it is put a $ in front of c:\netmail\netmail. Scans and acts on the required messages w/o issue thus far.
It's still regrettable that FTSC was not more specific in its specification for the format of the @MSGID line. At best, what's written is debatable.
