    Oddly Id rather eat McDonalds in the UK than in the USA. If I ever go to Mexico, id likely try and make a stop to McDonalds as well.

    I was not impressed by McDonalds in the UK when I was there. I think UK people likes their meat raw or something.

    Any restaurant, even fast food should have good food if it's prepared fresh.

    if you go to where nick lives (i used to drive by his house every day and
    peek in his windows on the way to work) the mcdonalds' drive thru's are
    always filled up. if the food wasn't good people wouldn't line up for it.

    you can go to any town in our state and it's the same way everywhere.

    subways need to go, though.

    I remember seeing a "Lamb McTasty" advertised in the London
    underground, for the Hindu population. There was also a Biryani dish.

    I used to travel to London a couple of times a year on business. Got a
    taste for pub food, but the last day I'd have a craving for a taste of
    home.

    It started out being hard to find something but the last time I was
    there, when I exited the tube in Wimbledon, there was a McDonalds, a
    Burger King, and a pizza hut in sight.

    I didn't check to see if McDonalds had a "Royale with cheese".

    In Germany, I went to a McDonalds just because I could order a beer there. The food was same ol' same ol'. How you'd expect a chain like that to be, I suppose. But... beer! I do a lot of things for the novelty.

    I didn't check to see if McDonalds had a "Royale with cheese".

    My wife and I visited France & the UK in October, and I somewhat remember seeing the Royale (or Royal) on a McDonald's menu in France (as I'd heard of before we visited). It looks like McDonald's doesn't have a Royale in the UK.

    I rotate between Greggs, the grocery store meal deal (Tesco/Marks and Spencer or Boots), pub food or McDonalds when im there.

    London on an expense account was wonderful. The first morming, we had a
    full english breakfast in the hotel, which cost 25 pounds per person.
    Later that trip, we found a little basement cafe near the hotel with
    wonderful food and a back room. We told them the 5 of us wanted to rent
    out the back room and spend the day there - we spent probably 40 pounds
    for the 5 of us in coffee, pastries and sandwiches, with them checking
    in on us all day.
